All items on Coverland.com are shipped from the warehouse in California and will be shipped on the same business day if an order is placed before 11:00am PT on Tuesday-Saturday. Weekend orders (after 11:00am PT on Saturday) ship on Monday while Monday orders ship on Tuesday. All items are subject to be delivered within 1-5 business days based on your location.
Our preferred US Carrier is FedEx. For some US destinations, USPS may be used.
All orders priced at $75 or more shipped to a destination within the Contiguous United States are shipped free of charge. For US Domestic orders below $75 the shipping cost depends on the zip code or the city that the order is being shipped to. All shipping cost rates are determined by the shipping location and all costs may vary based on location. To determine your shipping cost, you may do so at Checkout by selecting your zip code and city.

1. How does your Lifetime Warranty work?
The Ultimum Series comes with a Lifetime Warranty that covers any defects or failures in the product. While it doesn’t last forever, we offer a free, no-questions-asked replacement if any issues arise. Typically, the cover lasts 5-10 years, and with a replacement, it can last up to 20 years—likely outlasting your vehicle! That’s why we call it a lifetime warranty.
In addition, we offer a prorated warranty based on the length of ownership:
- 0-6 months: 100% coverage
- 6-12 months: 90% coverage
- 1-2 years: 80% coverage
- 2-3 years: 70% coverage
- 3-4 years: 60% coverage
- 4-5 years: 50% coverage
- 5-6 years: 40% coverage
- 6-10 years: 30% coverage
- 10+ years: 20% coverage
We believe this is the best cover available, with unmatched warranty and customer service.
2. How much is shipping?
All orders within the U.S. and Canada qualify for free shipping. Delivery typically takes 1-3 days, but in rare cases, it can take up to 5-7 days. Please note, shipping times depend on the carrier, so for the fastest updates, we recommend contacting them directly.
3. How can I track my order?
Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with a tracking number. You can use this number to track your package online 24/7.
4. When will I receive my car cover?
Orders usually ship the next business day, and delivery typically takes 1-3 days. However, in certain cases, it may take up to 5-7 days, depending on the carrier. You can check the status directly with them for more precise updates.
5. What if I can’t find my vehicle on your website?
If you don’t see your vehicle listed, please contact us at 714-266-0123 or provide your make, model, year, and any special trim (e.g., Ford F-150 2022 Crew Cab Short Bed) during the order process, and we’ll take care of the rest.
6. My coupon isn’t working. What should I do?
Occasionally, there are technical glitches with coupon codes. If this happens, proceed with your purchase and let us know the code via email or in the order notes. We’ll refund the coupon amount when processing your order.
7. My vehicle has modifications. Do you have a cover that fits?
We have over 20 years of experience and offer a wide range of covers to fit most vehicles, even those with modifications. While we no longer offer custom production due to high costs and long wait times, our expertise allows us to provide the best match without extra charges.
8. I recently repainted my vehicle. Is it safe to use a car cover?
Yes, but we recommend waiting at least 30-60 days after a fresh paint job before using a car cover. This gives the paint time to cure properly. Using a car cover too soon may affect the finish.

Dashield Lifetime Warranty (Ultimum Series)
At Dashield, we take pride in offering top-quality products that are built to protect your vehicle for years. We understand the importance of peace of mind, which is why we offer a Lifetime Warranty on our Ultimum Series car covers. This warranty prioritizes customer convenience while ensuring product longevity through proper care.
What’s Covered:
Our Lifetime Warranty for the Ultimum Series covers the following:
- Normal Wear and Tear: Dashield covers are designed to withstand sun, rain, snow, and hail. If your product deteriorates under normal weather exposure, we’ll replace it.
- Weather-Related Damages: Our covers are built tough, but if extreme weather conditions cause damage, you’re protected.
- Rips and Tears: While our covers are highly durable, accidents happen. Should your cover tear or rip under normal usage conditions, we’ll provide a replacement at no extra charge.
Prorated Warranty for UHD, HD, and Satin Series:
For our UHD, HD, and Satin Series products, we offer a prorated warranty. This works similarly to the prorated warranties at CarCovers.com, but we provide a 5-10% advantage for our customers. The prorated schedule for these series is as follows:
- 0-6 months: 100% coverage
- 6-12 months: 90% coverage
- 1-2 years: 85% coverage
- 2-3 years: 75% coverage
- 3-4 years: 65% coverage
- 4-5 years: 55% coverage
- 5-6 years: 45% coverage
- 6-10 years: 30% coverage
- 10+ years: 25% coverage
If your cover falls within this prorated period, you can receive a replacement by paying the prorated amount. Additionally, you can upgrade to a higher product by paying the prorated difference. However, changing the vehicle model is not allowed under this warranty.
Important Paint and Coating Information:
It’s crucial to note that using a Dashield cover on a newly painted vehicle can result in damage to the paint, especially if the paint has not fully cured. This issue is related to the paint, not the cover itself. Please observe the following guidelines:

Fresh Paint Jobs: If your vehicle has been recently painted or waxed, please wait for the paint or wax to fully cure before using a cover. Premature use of the cover could damage the surface. Always adhere to the cure times recommended by your paint professional or body shop before covering your vehicle.

Waxing Precaution: After waxing your vehicle, ensure the wax is completely dry before covering it. Failing to wait for the wax to cure can result in damage to both the vehicle and the cover.

Warranty Limitation: Any damage caused by covering a vehicle with uncured paint or wax is not covered under this warranty. Customers are responsible for ensuring the paint or surface is properly cured before using the cover.
Proper Use to Avoid Warranty Voiding:
To get the best results from your Dashield cover, it’s essential to follow the usage instructions. The warranty does not cover the following improper use cases:
- Improper Installation: Be sure to properly secure your cover as per the provided instructions. Excessive pulling or tightening can cause damage that is not covered by the warranty.
- Incorrect Use: Avoid placing the cover on wet vehicles or vehicles with open windows, or protrusions that could cause damage. These cases will not be covered.
- Modifications or Alterations: Any unauthorized changes made to the cover will void the warranty.
- Transporting Vehicles: The cover should not be used while the vehicle is being towed or transported. Damage from such use is not covered.

- Waterproofing Expectations: Dashield covers are water-resistant, not waterproof. Damage from water penetration is not covered.
- Paint and Surface Issues: As noted, using the cover on freshly painted or waxed vehicles before the surfaces have fully cured can result in damage not covered by this warranty.
