The Infiniti G35 ran in coupe and sedan body styles from 2003 through 2008 on the FM platform — the same platform that carried forward to the G37 coupe and sedan that followed. The coupe measures 182.1 inches overall length; the sedan measures 184.6 inches across both the V35 (2003–2006) and V36 (2007–2008) generations, with no fitment gap between them. That 2.5-inch coupe-to-sedan difference is the same split found in the G37, and it has the same consequence: a cover selected by model name alone without specifying body style introduces loose material at the front and rear edges of the coupe that wind loads against the paint.

For garaged G35s — particularly those in Midnight Black Pearl or Liquid Platinum Metallic, both of which show contact marks from the first touch — SoftTec Satin provides smooth-surface scratch and dust protection and is machine washable. For outdoor daily parking, the Vanguard UHD delivers 5-layer woven weather protection with a 5-year warranty. DaShield covers are Designed in Buena Park, California — the same Southern California UV load, salt air, and parking-density environment the G35 operates in every day.

Three things separate a DaShield cover for the Infiniti G35 from a generic cover pulled from a size chart.

First: body-style dimensional accuracy. The G35 coupe and sedan differ by 2.5 inches in overall length — the same gap that separates the G37 coupe from the G37 sedan. A cover selected by body style, not by model name alone, eliminates the loose-material bridge points at the front and rear edges that a size-chart cover creates on the coupe. For G35 owners with Sport package front lips or aftermarket aerodynamic additions, the front-edge clearance question applies on top of the base fitment: the cover must clear the lowest point of the lip extension, not just the factory bumper line.

Second: fabric matched to environment and finish. Liquid Platinum Metallic and Midnight Black Pearl both register directional contact marks under raking light — these are high-depth and high-gloss finishes where any cover-to-paint friction leaves a trace. SoftTec Satin's stretch satin weave glides against the clear coat rather than catching, and it is machine washable for routine cleaning after garage storage. The Vanguard UHD is a 5-layer woven construction for outdoor daily parking, carrying a 5-year warranty and handling the UV, rain, and particulate exposure that a garage fabric is not designed to face.

Third: engineering origin. DaShield covers are Designed in Buena Park, California. Paint correction on a G35 starts at $400. Panel respray runs $1,500 to $3,200. A G35 coupe with original factory paint and collector value between $10,000 and $22,000 is a vehicle whose finish is worth protecting before the first mark appears. The SoftTec Satin is $199. The arithmetic is direct.

Ultimum: $209, Lifetime warranty. UHD: $199, 5-Year warranty. HD: $139, 2-Year warranty. SoftTec Satin: indoor primary recommendation. Care: Ultimum, UHD, and HD are wipe-down only — never machine wash. Satin is machine washable.
