What’s inside a DaShield cover.
Most covers are one piece of plastic. Ours are a laminated system — a microporous membrane sandwiched between a tough outer shell and a zero-scratch fleece lining. Each layer has a job.
Outer Shell
200D–600D high-tenacity polyester. Abrasion-rated, tear-resistant, UV-stabilized at the yarn level — not just a surface coating.
Microporous Membrane
The magic layer. Pores 20,000× smaller than a water droplet but 700× larger than a water-vapor molecule — keeps rain out, lets trapped moisture breathe.
Anti-Scratch Fleece
100gsm brushed inner layer. Zero-grit surface that rides on your clear coat instead of grinding into it.
