Built to Last
Engineered for Any Condition.
From Arizona sun to Colorado hail — every DaShield cover is pressure-tested before it ships.
Why this RV needs the right cover
Travel trailer roofs sit horizontal under open sky — no pitch to reduce angle-of-incidence UV load, no drainage slope for moisture that forms overnight through condensation, no ambient shade from adjacent surfaces.
Against a flat EPDM, TPO, or aluminum roof exposed outdoors for months at a time, this geometry concentrates the two failure drivers — UV accumulation and moisture cycling — onto the same upward-facing surface without relief.
The DaShield RV Cloud uses a woven breathable laminate to block liquid rain from entering while allowing water vapor to escape outward, breaking the condensation cycle that degrades roof seam compounds over a storage season.
Built for travel trailers stored outdoors, not for climate-controlled storage where a lighter indoor cover would serve better at lower cost.
Forest River Forester cover priorities
Engineered for the Forest River Forester
The most common RV cover failure is not a cover that lets rain through — it is a sealed cover that traps moisture in. Non-woven single-ply covers block liquid water but also block water vapor, so overnight condensation stays trapped against the flat roof surface and cycles into the seam compounds and sealant joints over a full storage season.
The RV Cloud's woven laminate manages both directions: liquid water stays out, water vapor moves through. Against EPDM and TPO roofing materials that fail first at their seams, this two-direction moisture management is the specification that determines whether the cover is protecting the roof or accelerating the damage it is supposed to prevent.
