Engineered for Any Condition.
From Arizona sun to Colorado hail — every DaShield cover is pressure-tested before it ships.
Why this SUV needs the right cover
The DaShield Vanguard HD is a 4-layer breathable car cover custom-patterned to each Nissan Murano generation — Z50 (2003–2007, 188.2 in), Z51 (2009–2014, 189.4 in), and Z52 (2015–present, 192.0 in).
The 3.8-inch dimensional span across three generations means each requires separate pattern tooling, not a scaled approximation. The 4-layer breathable construction sheds liquid water through the outer layer while venting moisture vapor outward — preventing the condensation buildup that non-breathable covers trap against the paint surface over nightly temperature cycles.
UV blocking protects clear coat during full-day outdoor exposure; the HD is designed for Murano owners in standard outdoor commuter-parking conditions. The CrossCabriolet (2011–2014) is patterned separately to accommodate the convertible's retractable soft-top rear profile.
Backed by a 2-Year warranty. Patterned to your exact Murano year and body style.
Nissan Murano cover priorities
Engineered for the Nissan Murano
Three reasons Murano owners choose the Vanguard HD.
Generation-accurate pattern tooling across 3.8 inches of dimensional spread. Gen 1 Z50 (188.2 in), Gen 2 Z51 (189.4 in), and Gen 3 Z52 (192.0 in) each carry distinct overall lengths and C-pillar angles. A single template cannot seat correctly across all three. DaShield maintains separate tooling for each Murano generation. The CrossCabriolet (2011–2014) adds a fourth template for the convertible's folded-top rear profile — a categorically different fitment from the standard Z51 SUV despite sharing a platform.
Breathable 4-layer construction for daily-driver UV exposure. The Murano's commuter use pattern — outdoor parking six to eight hours per day, five days per week — is one of the highest UV accumulation scenarios in routine vehicle ownership. The HD outer layer blocks UV before it reaches the clear coat surface. The breathable laminate vents moisture vapor outward, preventing condensation buildup between the cover and the paint during overnight temperature cycles.
2-Year warranty matched to active-use replacement cycle. Paint correction on a crossover runs $400–$900. Clear coat respray per panel group is $1,800–$3,500. The Vanguard HD at $149.99 costs less than the minimum price of a single paint correction. The 2-Year warranty reflects the HD's design scope for consistent outdoor UV protection in standard commuter-use conditions.
