The Chevrolet C10 ran across three distinct body generations — the 1st gen (1960–1966), the 2nd gen Action Line (1967–1972), and the Square Body (1973–1987) — and each generation requires a different cover pattern.

The 1st gen carried a narrow cab, a 115-inch standard wheelbase, and available stepside fenders that protrude beyond the cab width. The 2nd gen Action Line brought a wider cab, revised cab-corner geometry, and longer wheelbase options up to 127 inches. The Square Body is the largest of the three — taller, wider, and built on a 117.5- to 131.5-inch wheelbase with flat-panel doors and a nearly vertical roofline that is dimensionally incompatible with either earlier generation.

Generation-Specific Fitment

The C10's three body generations are not cover-compatible with each other. The Square Body (1973–1987) is taller, wider, and longer than both predecessors. If you own a 1972 C10, you get a 2nd gen pattern. If you own a 1979 Square Body, you get a Square Body pattern.
